Prestatyn and Meliden Community Action Group (Registered Charity 1061602) was established in 1996 following a spate of criminal damage in the High Street and increased media focus on the activities of young people. The main aim of the group was to establish a way of engaging ‘hard to reach’ young people in the area. The charity was founded by local councillors, police officers, business owners and local residents, some of who are still active on the committee some 14 years later.
