We are looking for volunteers with the following skills or who would like to learn new skills by join our committed and enthusiastic team of volunteers.

You would be helping run our community cinema and supporting our film festival. Here is a list of current skills we are looking for, If you are ENTHUSIASTIC, PASSIONATE AND RELIABLE and have a LOVE OF FILM please get in touch!

Online Newsletter Manager

Developing an online newsletter which will help inform young people in North Wales of new training, volunteering and work opportunities in the film and television industry.

Social Media Manager

Social media helping to promote our cinema and festival

SKILL

Festivate Short Film Manager

Programming the short films for the Festival, watching and reviewing the entries for the festival

SKILL

Designer

Designing leaflets for the cinema and festival including programmes, certificates, invitations etc.

VOLUNTEER STORIES
Get involved & join in the fun!

Our volunteers have had lots of fun over the years and benefited by working with Film Hub Wales, Ffilm Cymru Wales, Gwynt y Mor, British Council, BAFTA Cymru, Children in Need and Into Film, they travelled to Birmingham, Sheffield, London, Cardiff and Holyhead on training courses and visits, this included helping to produce a Vlog with Film Hub Wales at their Wizard of Oz screening with live orchestra… and to Bangor to meet the Welsh Government First Minister Carwyn Jones AM along with other ministers and our local AM Ann Jones. They attended film festivals in Berlin, Greece, London BFI Futures Festival, Iris in North Wales and Focus Wales music Festival in Wrexham.

Our volunteers took on the roles of Festival Administrator and Festival Chair, there's to do and Wicked Wales can open up lots of exciting opportunities.
